Study Cites Inadequate Counseling in Low HRT Use

Only a small fraction of low-income, black women use hormone replacement therapy, despite the significant health benefits associated with the treatment.

This low rate of hormone use may be the result of physician failure to discuss the therapy with their patients, suggests a new study by Johns Hopkins researchers.
